Zelenskyy: Ukraine’s survival depends on U.S. military aid

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned that Ukraine has a “low chance” of surviving without U.S. military support, as Russia continues its slow advance. Speaking at the Munich Security Conference, he cautioned that Russian President Vladimir Putin seeks only a ceasefire to regroup and lift sanctions, not a true peace deal.

The Trump administration’s stance on Ukraine has alarmed European allies, with Vice President JD Vance hinting at possible concessions to Russia. Meanwhile, Trump has downplayed NATO support, raising concerns over future regional security.

Despite the uncertainty, Zelenskyy remains hopeful, urging Trump to fully back Ukraine against Russian aggression. European officials fear that rewarding Putin’s invasion could embolden further attacks.
