A Geneva man was arrested for petit larceny after allegedly stealing items from Kinney Drugs in Lyons, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Deputies arrested Joseph M. Gonzalez, 26, on Sunday night after he was accused of stealing Mountain Dew and candy bars from the store. The incident was reported at 10:30 p.m., according to investigators.
Gonzalez was taken into custody and later released with an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in Lyons Town Court on March 4 at 8:30 a.m. to answer the charge.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the incident.
