A Waterloo man was arrested after allegedly threatening to stab and kill someone during an argument earlier this month.
The Waterloo Police Department said Jason W. Bounds, 44, was taken into custody around 6:30 p.m. on May 9. Authorities say the arrest followed an incident on May 6 when Bounds allegedly retrieved a knife during a verbal dispute and made threats against the victim.
Police charged Bounds with menacing in the second degree and harassment in the second degree. He was taken to the Seneca County Correctional Facility for arraignment and later released on his own recognizance. An order of protection was issued for the victim.
