Next Chapter Brewpub in Auburn has temporarily closed as co-owner Michelle DeLap prioritizes the health of her husband who was diagnosed with a rare terminal illness, according to The Citizen.
The brewpub, known for its craft beer, wood-fired pizza, and live events, has been a community gathering spot since its opening in 2018. The DeLaps, Auburn natives, returned to the area to pursue their passion for brewing.
Michelle expressed gratitude for the community’s support but said the brewpub’s future remains uncertain.
