Canandaigua man faces felony DWI, weapons charges after speeding over 100 mph

A Canandaigua man was arrested in Yates County after being observed driving over 100 miles per hour.

Deputies identified the suspect as 24-year-old James Bell, who showed signs of impairment during field sobriety tests.

Authorities discovered Bell was allegedly in possession of a firearm, brass knuckles, and a switchblade.

With a prior DWI conviction, Bell now faces felony DWI charges, three counts of criminal possession of a weapon, and one count of consuming cannabis in a motor vehicle.
