Thursday night was filled with Wayne-Finger Lakes high school basketball as 13 games took place across the region.
Jamire Johnson stole the spotlight as he netted his 1,000th point on a free throw in the third quarter to help lead Lyons to a come-from-behind win over Gananda. The junior became the sixth player to reach that milestone in the Wayne-Finger Lakes this season, joining Bloomfield’s Calla McCombs (junior), Marcus Whitman’s Brody Royston (senior), Palmyra-Macedon’s Taryn Goodness (senior), Newark’s TaKyla Vaughn (senior), and Clyde-Savannah’s Taylor Carnevale (junior).
Meanwhile, the Honeoye boys continued to roll as they picked up a 12th consecutive victory with a win at Dundee/Bradford. They have not lost since dropping their season opener to South Seneca on December 10.
Check out the scores, stats, and Friday’s matchups below.
