Clyde-Galen Fire District responds to Tyre crash

Clyde-Galen Fire District crews responded to a serious vehicle accident in Tyre on Jan. 28, where a car T-boned a tractor-trailer, blocking all lanes. Firefighters managed traffic control while EMS assessed patients.


Once wreckers arrived, crews assisted with cleanup before returning to service. Agencies involved included the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, New York State Police, and Empire Truck Services.

Firefighters were praised for their swift and coordinated response.
