RFK Jr. to profit from lawsuits while in office

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. plans to continue earning from legal cases while heading the Department of Health and Human Services, according to his ethics agreement. He will receive referral fees for lawsuits unrelated to federal interests, including a high-profile case against Merck’s Gardasil vaccine over alleged side effects.

Kennedy has long spread vaccine misinformation, challenging his ability to lead agencies like the CDC and FDA. The Gardasil vaccine, backed by extensive research, protects against HPV-related cancers and is deemed safe by experts.

Kennedy stated he would divest from cases tied to federal programs and redirect any government-related fees to family members.
