Another week of high school basketball kicked off Monday night, with 14 games across the Wayne-Finger Lakes region but just one of them was decided by single digits.
That game unfolded in East Rochester, where Brody Royston returned from a three-game absence and poured in a season-high 36 points, leading Marcus Whitman to an overtime victory and ending their three-game skid.
Meanwhile, junior Taylor Carnevale reached the 1,000-point mark in Clyde-Savannah’s blowout win at Romulus. She is the fifth player in the Wayne-Finger Lakes to reach that milestone this season, joining Bloomfield’s Calla McCombs, Palmyra-Macedon’s Taryn Goodness, Newark’s TaKyla Vaugn, and Marcus Whitman’s Brody Royston.
Check out the scores, stats, and Tuesday’s matchups below.
