ServU Credit Union officially opened its new full-service branch in Penn Yan with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, January 7. The event, hosted at the 5,000-square-foot facility located at 102 Delano Place, was held in partnership with the Yates County Chamber of Commerce.
The new branch, conveniently located near the Keuka Lake Outlet and Casa Mezcal Restaurant, offers a variety of features for members, including two drive-thru lanes, a drive-up ATM, a night drop, and a self-service coin machine.
To mark the occasion and highlight ServU Credit Union’s commitment to the Penn Yan community, CEO Keith Orfanides announced several donations to local organizations. Beneficiaries include the Yates Community Center, Keuka College, Milly’s Pantry, Penn Yan Village Fire Department, Penn Yan Police Benevolent Association, Penn Yan Ambulance Corporation, and support organizations for Penn Yan schools.
“We could not be more excited to be bringing the credit union difference to the local Penn Yan community,” Orfanides said during the ceremony. “This new Penn Yan location strengthens our dedication to the people of Yates County. We look forward to the new opportunities we will have to serve and make a difference in our members’ lives.”
The branch’s lobby will operate Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., while the drive-thru will be open Monday through Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and extended hours on Thursday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
