Auburn’s Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH), JFK Division #1, has announced that its annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade will take place Saturday, March 15, at 11 a.m. This unique celebration is known for being New York State’s shortest St. Patrick’s Day parade, spanning just 291 feet along Van Anden Street.
This year’s Grand Marshal will be Bill Galloway, a longtime member of the organization, current vice president, and owner of Dutch Hollow Country Club. Galloway’s leadership in the community and commitment to Irish culture earned him the honor.
First launched in 2019, the parade has become a hallmark event in Auburn, attracting participants and spectators to celebrate Irish heritage. The parade is part of a weeklong series of festivities at the Auburn AOH, located at 79 Van Anden Street. All events are open to the public, and AOH and LAOH encourage those interested in joining to reach out.
Further information about the parade and related events can be found on the Auburn AOH and LAOH Facebook pages.
