The Corning Museum of Glass will waive admission fees on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Jan. 20, providing visitors with a day of free tours, readings, and community service activities during regular hours.
Families can enjoy special readings in the morning and guided gallery tours at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., with reservations required for tour spots. Community service activities include decorating bags for Meals on Wheels and making cards for seniors and veterans from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The museum’s “Make Your Own Glass” experiences are not included in free admission. Guests can reserve spots online to create a limited-edition Martin Luther King Jr. Suncatcher, available only on the holiday.
