Steven Roshia Jr., 42, has announced his candidacy as a write-in for one of two Waterloo village trustee seats in the March 20 election. Roschia, a registered Republican, revealed his plans on social media.
Incumbent Republican John Butlak and former officials Jason Godley and Jack O’Connor will face off in a GOP primary on Jan. 28.
Voting will occur from 3–8 p.m. at the Community Center. Meanwhile, Democrats plan to endorse a candidate at a caucus that evening.
