The Auburn City Council meeting on January 16 featured several agenda items. A proclamation was made honoring the 30th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr. Day as a National Day of Service. Key agenda items included a report from the city manager on ongoing projects and appointments, and discussions on financial resolutions such as the 2025 Seymour Library tax levy, Cayuga County tax rate adjustments, and budget transfers. The council also addressed the settlement of a longstanding property tax assessment dispute for a property on Genesee Street.
