NYSEG and RG&E have introduced Energy Manager, a free and secure online tool designed to give customers detailed insights into their energy usage.
The tool, available via the My Account portal on both companies’ websites and mobile apps, offers by-the-hour energy tracking for customers with smart meters and monthly data for those without. It also provides comparisons with similar homes and personalized recommendations based on home profile quizzes.
“This is a game changer for our customers,” said Christine Alexander, vice president of Customer Service. “Energy Manager helps pinpoint where energy use is coming from and empowers customers to make cost-saving adjustments.”
The tool integrates weather data to illustrate its impact on energy usage and promises additional features as more data becomes available. NYSEG and RG&E emphasized that this innovation is part of broader investments in smarter energy infrastructure.
