A Corning man, Todd A. Speicher, 39, was arrested after fleeing from state troopers attempting to serve an arrest warrant for parole violations.
Speicher was apprehended after a brief foot chase and charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon, along with multiple misdemeanors, including drug possession, resisting arrest, and obstruction of government administration.
Authorities reported finding a switchblade, suspected methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia on Speicher. He was taken to the Steuben County Jail for processing.
