Goodwill stores in parts of the country have ended tag sales, senior discounts, military discount days, and customer appreciation events as of Jan. 1.

Previously, these promotions offered discounts of up to 30%. Goodwill will continue offering exclusive deals through its free Perks Plus loyalty program, where members can earn and redeem points and coupons at those locations.

A spokesperson for Goodwill Industries International clarified after publishing that the policy would not impact stores in the Finger Lakes.
