Syracuse man arrested for false personation during Sennett larceny investigation

  • / Updated:
  • Staff Report

A Syracuse man was arrested after allegedly providing false identification to Cayuga County authorities during a larceny investigation.

Eric T. Anderson, 35, was taken into custody on December 23 after deputies assisted New York State Police with a reported theft at a Tractor Supply store in Sennett.

Investigators say Anderson gave deputies a false name to conceal an outstanding warrant in another jurisdiction.

Anderson was charged with false personation.

He was issued an appearance ticket for Sennett Town Court on January 8, 2025, and then turned over to State Police for further investigation.
