A Seneca Falls man was arrested early Tuesday morning after a domestic dispute escalated into property damage and distress for the victim.

Colton R. Price, 29, of Seneca Falls, was taken into custody following an investigation by the Seneca Falls Police Department. Authorities said the incident began as a verbal altercation but intensified when Price allegedly trashed the residence, broke a window, and damaged household items.

Fearing for her safety, the victim fled the home and contacted law enforcement. Officers arrived to find the residence in disarray, with broken items scattered throughout, causing significant disruption.

Price was charged with criminal mischief in the third degree, a class E felony; criminal mischief in the fourth degree, a class A misdemeanor; harassment in the first degree, a class B misdemeanor; and criminal tampering in the third degree, a class B misdemeanor.

After his arrest, Price was processed and transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility, where he was held pending arraignment. An Order of Protection has been requested on behalf of the victim.
