Syracuse men’s basketball (6-6, 0-1 ACC) closes out 2024 with its ACC home opener against Wake Forest (9-4, 1-1 ACC) at the JMA Wireless Dome today at 2 p.m.
The Orange got back to .500 last Saturday with a 75-63 home victory over Bucknell behind double-doubles from Eddie Lampkin Jr. and Donnie Freeman. Meanwhile, the Demon Deacons last played on December 21 when they fell to No. 21 Clemson, 72-63.
This will mark the 16th meeting between Syracuse and Wake Forest. The Demon Deacons have taken the last two matchups, including a 99-70 victory in Winston-Salem a season ago.
The game will be televised on ESPN, with Doug Sherman (play-by-play) and Randolph Childress (analyst) on the call.
