A man was taken into custody following a disturbance in Lyons involving physical assault, property damage, and obstruction of law enforcement. Authorities identified the suspect as 47-year-old Richard A. Wollek Jr.
Police say Wollek, allegedly intoxicated, destroyed a camper and its contents, injured a female victim by hitting her with a TV, and prevented her from calling for help. He also reportedly pushed a second victim and obstructed officers during the investigation.
Wollek was transported to Wayne County Jail for CAP Court arraignment, where he remains in custody pending further legal proceedings.
