A 19-year-old Sodus woman was arrested Saturday evening after allegedly refusing to cooperate with deputies during an investigation into a disturbance, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrested Maelana Mendez, of State Route 104, around 7:33 p.m. on December 29. Authorities say Mendez was involved in a disturbance and refused to provide deputies with her information when asked.
Mendez was taken to the Wayne County Jail for processing, including fingerprints and photographs, before being released on an appearance ticket.
She is scheduled to appear in Sodus Town Court on February 12, 2025, for arraignment.
