The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Macedon man early Saturday following a violent domestic incident that involved a weapon.
Bailey A. Garrow, 26, of Turner Road, was charged with criminal mischief in the fourth degree, criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, menacing in the second degree, and assault in the third degree. Deputies allege that during an altercation with his girlfriend, Garrow kicked her in the face.
The incident escalated when the victim attempted to call her mother for help, and Garrow reportedly took the phone to prevent her from contacting anyone. Authorities say Garrow then displayed a knife in front of the victim.
Garrow was processed at the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office and taken to the Wayne County Jail. He awaited arraignment later that evening.
