Gas prices are dipping close to a 3-year low, with the national average dropping to $3.02 per gallon, according to AAA.
This is the lowest since May 2021, and 32 states now report prices below $3.
New Yorkers are paying an average of $3.15 per gallon. Across upstate regions, Albany drivers pay $3.09, Syracuse averages $3.16, Rochester stands at $3.25, and Buffalo hits $3.17.
Seneca County boasts the lowest upstate price at $2.96 per gallon.
