The National Women’s Hall of Fame in Seneca Falls has received a $500,000 grant from the Historic Preservation Fund, administered by the National Park Service. The funding supports ongoing renovations at the historic Seneca Knitting Mill, the Hall’s home and a symbol of the birthplace of the American Women’s Rights Movement.
Since moving into the mill’s first floor in 2019, the Hall has steadily expanded access and exhibits. Recent upgrades include a new stairwell, elevator access, and second-floor renovations.
The latest grant will fund exhibit lighting, HVAC upgrades, and office space improvements, advancing the Hall’s mission to honor women’s contributions to history.
