Rep. Elise Stefanik Reports Bomb Threat to Saratoga County Home

  • / Updated:
  • Staff Report

Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (R) revealed Wednesday that her family home in Saratoga County was targeted by a bomb threat. Stefanik, her husband, and their three-year-old son were en route from Washington for Thanksgiving when they were informed of the incident.

Law enforcement at the state, county, and federal levels, including U.S. Capitol Police, responded promptly. Stefanik expressed gratitude for their professionalism and extended Thanksgiving wishes to the Upstate New York community, particularly honoring officers and military personnel working during the holidays.

Additionally, the Trump-Vance Transition Team reported similar threats against President Trump’s appointees, including bomb scares and “swatting.” They thanked law enforcement for their swift response in protecting the targeted individuals and their families.
