The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) will grace Geneva’s Smith Opera House with a holiday performance on Sunday, Nov. 24, at 3 p.m. Geneva Concerts is hosting the event, perfect for families, children, and music lovers of all ages.
Led by Music Director Andreas Delfs, the program features Britten’s The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra, Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No. 2 with soloist Juliana Athayde, and selections from Lowell Lieberman’s Frankenstein. The concert concludes with Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, narrated by Thomas Warfield. Admission is free for children and HWS students with ID. Adult tickets are $35, and non-HWS students pay $10.
