Under Trump’s new administration, Homan is expected to reinstate large-scale worksite raids, which had been halted during the Biden administration. He confirmed last month on CBS’s “60 Minutes” that these raids would resume. Trump’s recent appointments hint at a strict immigration stance, with Homan likely to lead broader deportation efforts.
This appointment follows Trump’s other key staffing announcements, including naming Susie Wiles as his chief of staff, while excluding former officials Nikki Haley and Mike Pompeo from his cabinet lineup.
