Vice President Kamala Harris made a surprise appearance on “Saturday Night Live” during the show’s cold open, joining Maya Rudolph, who famously impersonates her.
In a humorous twist, Harris appeared in a mirror as Rudolph, in character as Harris, wished for guidance. “I’m just here to remind you, you got this,” Harris said, poking fun at her opponent’s recent door-opening mishap.
The sketch also featured a playful exchange between the two, with lines like “Keep calm-ala, and carry on-ala,” bringing cheers from the audience.
Harris’s cameo comes amid her busy campaign schedule, highlighting the lighthearted side of this election season.
