A new focus group of Nikki Haley supporters has revealed mixed reactions as the former president’s polarizing style continues to divide Republican and independent voters.
Hosted by NBC News in partnership with Syracuse University, the session showed 11 voters reflecting on a recent Trump rally where harsh rhetoric left some Haley voters reconsidering their options, with four planning to vote for Vice President Kamala Harris instead.
Despite Harris’s endorsements from prominent anti-Trump Republicans, focus group moderator Rich Thau noted few were swayed, with most voters sticking firmly to their initial preferences.
