Ontario County votes: Early voting guide, polling places, and mail-in options for absentees

Ontario County voters can take advantage of multiple options to cast their ballots early ahead of the November 5 general election. Early voting began over the weekend with three polling sites open in Canandaigua, Geneva, and Victor.

Early Voting Locations:

  • Canandaigua: Board of Elections Office, 74 Ontario Street
  • Geneva: Geneva Housing Authority Offices, 41 Lewis Street
  • Victor: Victor Town Hall, 85 East Main Street

Early Voting Schedule:

  • Saturday, October 26: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, October 27: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Monday, October 28: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Tuesday, October 29: 12 p.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Wednesday, October 30: 12 p.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Thursday, October 31: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Friday, November 1: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Saturday, November 2: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, November 3: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Voters can also choose to vote by mail. All registered voters are eligible to apply for an early mail ballot online or by submitting an application form. Absentee ballots are also available for those unable to vote in person due to disability, illness, or being away from their polling site.

Voters can return their mail ballots by mail using the prepaid postage envelope or drop them off at the Board of Elections during regular business hours or at any open polling site.

On Election Day, polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at assigned locations throughout Ontario County.
