Week 9 of the college football season is here, and Syracuse takes on No. 19 Pittsburgh tonight at Acrisure Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m.
Both teams are coming off bye weeks. The Orange (5-1) enters the contest having won three straight games, while the Panthers are off to a 6-0 start for the first time since 1982.
Syracuse and Pittsburgh will meet for the 80th time, with the Panthers holding a 43-33-3 advantage in the all-time series.
A Cuse victory would make the Orange Bowl eligible for the third-straight year for the first time since Syracuse played in five consecutive bowls from 1995-99.
The game will be televised on ESPN, with Matt Barrie, Dan Mullen, and Harry Lyles Jr. on the call.
