Authorities in Canisteo are searching for two suspects believed to be involved in a string of burglaries and larcenies. The Canisteo Police Department, along with the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office, announced on Oct. 14 that they are investigating several recent thefts in the area.
Residents living near Seventh Street, South Elm Street, East Academy Street, and Greenwood Street are urged to check their garages and properties for missing items. Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
The investigation is ongoing as officials work to identify those responsible for the thefts.
