For those seeking Halloween scares, “Legends and Lore: Troubled Waters” will be held at the Finger Lakes Boating Museum on Oct. 24, 25, and 26.
This guided walking tour promises eerie stories of mystery, tragedy, and local legends as guests explore the former Taylor Wine Company headquarters, including creepy, rarely seen areas like tunnels and a furnace room.
The hour-long tours will feature actors portraying haunted characters who recount tales of steamboat disasters, ghosts, and phantoms tied to the Finger Lakes. Tickets are $18 and available online or on-site, with activities and refreshments offered before and after the tour.
Parental discretion is advised for children under 12 due to the mature themes.
