The man who was dismissed from his role as county manager in Seneca County has a new gig, or at least one he’ll be starting soon.
Kyle Lovell, former Seneca County manager, has been named the new city manager in Oneida. The Finger Lakes Times reported the new job, which comes four months after his dismissal in Seneca County.
The Times reports Lovell was chosen from five finalists for the role and is now negotiating his contract before a start date is set. His departure came under unclear circumstances, with county officials citing “unforeseen circumstances.”
The Seneca County Board is still addressing unresolved issues from Lovell’s time.
