Three people were injured in a crash involving a sedan and a tractor-trailer in the Town of Galen, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reported. The accident occurred on October 11 at the intersection of State Route 414 and Anstee Road.
According to deputies, the driver of the sedan, Joseph Uglialoro, struck the rear bumper of a tractor-trailer operated by Daniel Bryan as it turned onto Route 414. Uglialoro and two passengers, Evelyn Crutcher and Daniel Gregory, sustained injuries and were transported to Strong Memorial Hospital. Gregory, who had a head injury, was airlifted by Mercy Flight.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured. Uglialoro was ticketed for following too closely and driving at an unsafe speed. He is scheduled to appear in Galen Town Court at a later date.
