The Canisteo American Legion hosted a fundraiser on Sunday to support residents affected by August’s flash flooding in Steuben County.
The “Flood Victims of the Canisteo Valley” event featured local musicians, raffles, and food, with proceeds helping families whose homes were destroyed.
Over 20 properties were damaged during the remnants of Tropical Storm Debby.
The Legion will continue accepting donations for flood relief at their Canisteo location for the coming weeks.
