An Arcadia man is facing several charges after being arrested on multiple warrants during a traffic stop in Monroe County, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Anthony L. Santiago, 41, of Ryder Road, was taken into custody late Sunday night after deputies discovered he had active warrants during the traffic stop. The warrants stem from a May 7, 2024, incident in the Town of Arcadia, where Santiago allegedly parked his vehicle in the roadway while driving under the influence. Authorities also claim that Santiago was in possession of a switchblade knife during the same incident.
Following his arrest, Santiago was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing. He was later taken to Wayne County Jail, where he is awaiting arraignment in Centralized Arraignment Part (CAP) court.
Santiago is scheduled to appear in the Town of Arcadia Court at a later date for further legal proceedings.
