A 41-year-old resident of Seneca Falls was arrested Thursday afternoon after allegedly stealing merchandise from a local business, police said.
The man was charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor, following an investigation by the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department. Authorities determined he left the store without paying for items in his possession.
He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
