A Summerhill man was arrested on September 15 after being involved in a domestic incident and subsequently charged with driving while intoxicated. According to a press release from the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a call in the Town of Genoa around 12:20 AM and determined that the suspect, 26-year-old Callan G. Space, had driven to the location while under the influence of alcohol.
Space was taken into custody and transported to the Public Safety Building, where he was charged with several offenses, including Driving While Intoxicated (a misdemeanor), Aggravated DWI for driving with a blood alcohol content over 0.18% (a misdemeanor), and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd degree (an E felony).
He was released with appearance tickets.
