Steuben County has introduced an anonymous tip page aimed at cracking down on businesses selling unlicensed marijuana.
The county is encouraging residents to report businesses involved in selling or gifting cannabis without a state license. Currently, there are no licensed dispensaries in Steuben County.
The tip page is part of a new local law that grants the county’s Department of Weights and Measures the authority to inspect businesses suspected of illegal cannabis sales.
Residents can submit tips through the county’s website: Unlicensed Cannabis Sale Enforcement.
