A new poll shows half of Gen Z voters back Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential race, while one-third support former President Donald Trump.
The NBC News Stay Tuned Gen Z Poll, powered by SurveyMonkey, highlights the generational divide, with Harris leading by 30 points among young women and just 4 points among young men.
The poll also reveals that 73% of Gen Z voters favor an age limit for presidential candidates, and 60% of young voters who are certain to vote support Harris. However, a significant 34% of independent voters say they will not vote in the election.
