Rep. Williams Talks Trump Endorsement and Future of Republican Party

During an interview at the New York State Fair with CNYCentral he expressed admiration for Trump, describing him as a “disruptor” he wants to see back in the White House.

Despite Trump’s ongoing legal troubles, Rep. Williams dismissed efforts to tie him to controversial policy ideas like those in the Project 2025 document.

Looking ahead, Rep. Williams acknowledged the need for Republicans to reinvent themselves post-Trump, expressing concern about the party’s future direction.
