Carlos Rodón struggled early, allowing four runs in the first two innings and five overall, and the offense was unable to bail him out as they went 1-for-13 with runners in scoring position.
Jazz Chisholm Jr. hit his career-best 22nd home run of the season and had two of New York’s seven hits. Aaron Judge drove in the other run with a two-out RBI single and walked twice.

The Yankees will get the day off Thursday before opening a three-game series with the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday night in the Bronx.
