After a four-year pause, the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation has reopened its Garden of Life adult day program, which had been closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The facility, which offers essential daytime clinical and social services, provides an alternative to traditional adult residency programs, supporting both patients and their caregivers.
CNR Director of Long-Term Care Shari Hutchison highlighted the importance of the reopening, noting that it alleviates the stress and burnout often experienced by family caregivers. The state-of-the-art facility ensures that adults receive personalized, high-level care during the day, allowing caregivers much-needed respite.
The Garden of Life offers a wide range of services, including rehabilitation therapies, dental and eye care, on-site laboratory services, and therapeutic activities, reaffirming Livingston County’s commitment to comprehensive adult care.
