Philadelphia Democrat Gary Hines, initially unimpressed by Harris, now believes she is capable and motivated to beat Trump, igniting his enthusiasm. Similarly, Lauren Schulman of Florida feels reassured by Harris’ youthful and smart presence, contrasting sharply with Trump.
Despite the optimism, 56% of U.S. adults still believe Trump is more likely to win if he faces Harris in the general election.
