Alumni of Wells College are set to meet with school leaders in Syracuse on Thursday to seek answers about the college’s sudden closure.
The Cleveland Commission for Wells aims to obtain more details about the decision, according to reporting by The Citizen.
The commission’s meeting with Wells College officials follows a lawsuit filed by the alumni group demanding transparency. The closure was attributed to financial instability.
Concerns persist about the fate of the campus and records, especially since Wells’ accreditor, Middle States Commission on Higher Education, deemed the closure “unapproved.”
