Former President Donald Trump attacked Vice President Kamala Harris during his first rally since President Joe Biden exited the 2024 race. Speaking in Charlotte, Trump called Harris his “new victim to defeat” and criticized her record.
Trump labeled Harris “the most incompetent and far-left vice president in American history” and accused her of deceiving the public about Biden’s capability to run for a second term. He also criticized her positions on abortion and immigration, mispronouncing her name multiple times.
As Trump ramped up his criticism, Harris was in Indiana rallying support. She told members of Zeta Phi Beta sorority that the election is “a choice between two different visions for our nation.” Her campaign called Trump’s speech “unhinged and rambling.”
