Sale of major properties in Seneca Falls called off

The planned sale of two prominent properties at 2 and 10 Fall St. in Seneca Falls has been canceled. Town officials announced that the town will continue to own 10 Fall St. and must restart the process of finding a new developer for the site.

In January, the town had agreed to sell 2 Fall St. to Revitacor LLC for $50,000. The plan included demolishing the former Seneca Falls Hospital and Medical Arts Building to build upscale apartments and retail spaces.

With the sale off, the town now faces the task of beginning the search for a new developer from scratch. The 26 residents of 2 Fall St. will remain in place for now.
