Mets blow five-run lead in loss to Nationals (highlights)

The New York Mets (42-42) jumped out a five-run lead but allowed seven unanswered runs in a 7-5 loss to the Washington Nationals (40-46) on Wednesday night. 

Tyrone Taylor, Mark Vientos, and Francisco Lindor went deep in the first five innings to make it 5-0, but then the Mets pitching struggled. 

Christian Scott surrendered four runs on six hits in 5.2 innings. Jake Diekman gave up a tying and go-ahead run in the seventh before Ty Adcock allowed another in the eighth.
